Located in Historic Capitol Hill, The Knitting Loft was born out of the passion of Cheryl Steplight, a native Washingtonian and knit lover!
Through this fiber arts studio, Cheryl seeks to provide fiber artists with resources for the craft and a cozy place to learn, practice and meet others.
Leaving a Legacy
It is Cheryl's sincere desire to see the fiber arts expand and thrive. To this end, The Knitting Loft teaches the art of knitting to young people from under-served communities within the Nation's Capital.
